International College of Bible Theology To Know Him and To Make Him Known
Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology The Word to The World
Welcome!!
We are an inter-denominational institute of higher
education that offers affordable accredited Christian degree programs since 1999. Our vision is to equip students with biblical knowledge aiding in their
success in ministry. Our degree programs are designed to equip students to follow the Lord in the work
of the ministry.
For this reason, we have chosen to be accredited through the Accrediting Commission International, the
world's largest non-governmental accrediting association. ACI accredits over 252 schools
in 39 of the United States and in nine other countries on five continents. The purpose of ICBT/MSBT partnering with an accrediting organization is not to
gain “approval,” but to undergo scrutiny by a monitoring agency to verify and vouch for the ongoing quality of our programs including our academic policies and facilities.
ACI has no affiliation with federal or state departments of education.
Due to perceived constitutional issues regarding the separation of church and state, we are exempt from selected requirements of the
Virginia Department of Education based on the religious designation of the programs and degrees offered at ICBT/MSBT here in Petersburg, VA.
We are recognized as a not for profit school owned, controlled and operated by a bona fide religious or denominational organization which offers
no programs or degrees and grants no degrees or certificates other than those specifically designated as theological, bible, divinity, or other religious designation.
The ICBT/MSBT accepts transfer credits from other colleges and universities, as well as many
Bible schools and institutes, after appropriate evaluation.
International College of Bible Theology and Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology is a Not-for Profit Religious Organization
that provides Excellent Christian Education to those who cannot afford the cost of those studying at brick-and-mortar institutions with
the same quality courses. We provide biblical seminars from time to time that are open to the public (see SEMINARS below).
ICBT/MSBT offers certificates, diplomas, and college degrees at the undergraduate and
graduate levels in Biblical studies onsite, by correspondence, and through seminars.
Gratefully using the facilities at
The Rock Church of Petersburg for the purposes of a central office
and central classroom facilities is the accredited Bible College that was
started in September of 1999. The International College
of Bible Theology offers classes on Saturday once every three months at the
Union Baptist Church in Crewe, VA., and on alternate Mondays at the
The New Beginning Faith Community Church, Wakefield, VA., and every Tuesday evening
for the associate degree level and every Wednesday morning or Thursday evening for the bachelor level courses
at the Petersburg Campus. The Master's Classes are on Saturdays by appointment.
Our first day classes began on 2 December 2003.
Effective Winter 2006, the AUDIT program was re-introduced.
Effective September 2009, the MSBT began with onsite classes.
See the Registration section for announcements and further information inparticipating in these classes.
If your location is more than 30 minutes from Petersburg, Crewe, Wakefield, or Williamsburg, or any place in between,
we can open up a local campus at your site or church. The ICBT is strictly interdenominational.
At these sites of the ICBT/MSBT, we believe God has called us to be co-laborers
with Him. It is our vision to provide teaching and training to the Body
of Christ to enable them to be all that they can be for God.
God has charged us with propagating the Gospel through education to
whomsoever will. We do this through presenting the foundations of
Christianity, bringing opportunity through teachings and information
for practical application. In effect, we train Christians in skilled
servant work, working within Christ's body, the church, until we're all
moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful
in response to God's Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and
without, fully alive like Christ (Ephesians 4:12-13, The Message).
Students may
register at the Petersburg, Crewe, and Wakefield campuses as shown on the registration form.
For information and registration, the office is open by appointment Tuesday – Thursday, 10 AM
- 2 PM. You may also call or e-mail us, and we will be
happy to send you the information you need.
Students are encouraged to participate in seminars
that are given once every three months. These are full credit classes that are designed for practical training.
Enrollment, tuition, textbook, study guide, and any other fees are due with completed application at registration.
See the Application, Letter of Accreditation, Course Profile for Associate and Bachelor Degree,
Graduate Degree Requirements, Course Listings, Course Requirements,
Grading System, Essay Helps, and more here. Keep in
mind the difference between an APPLICATION and a REGISTRATION. An application
is a one-time activity, but the registration process is a continuing activity that occurs at each trimester for new class offerings.
Come and expand your
knowledge of God's Word!

The I.C.B.T./M.S.B.T. believes...
The Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
There is one God eternally existent.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His
sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His
bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and
in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule
over the nations.
The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith
in the precious blood of Christ.
Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
The redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human
body in answer to believing prayer.
The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to
believers who ask for it.
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the
Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to
everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.

Otherwise, what you are seeing on this screen will drive you crazy.
